Here are photos of some of the students who attended Sonsorol Elem School during my volunteer back in 2007. Their names are Derek, Russel, Dylan, Elton, Jeremiah, and Altar. Derek, after his graduation at SES, attended Palau High School and he has just graduated this year. Congratulations Derek!! The rest are attending schools in main island Koror. This is to announce to the public the completion of the translation of the Sonsorol portion of the Ergebnisse der Südsee Expedition 1908-1910 finally making available information about the islands of Sonsorol State recorded more than 100 years ago.The translation was from German into English of the Results of the South Seas Expedition to Palau http://cchph.net/portfolio/eng/eilers-e.html

Hello All,

Can someone tell me who are the candidates running for Delegate other than Celino? To be honest, I don't vote for a person because he/she is my relative or close friend. I go for someone that is honest, open minded, have open door policy, willing to listen to people of the island ideas and can lead.

Any inputs? Hope to hear from you all.

Sonsorolese and All Palauans,

RPPL 7-50 has repealed the public law that mandated people who did not cast their vote at the 2004 general election to re-register to be able to vote at the 2008 general election. Thus, if you have registered you are fine and you do not have to re-register.

You do need to request for absentee ballot to be able to cast your vote in the upcoming primary in September and in the general election in November.

Do it now. Don't wait. You want to beat the snail mail syndrome. Come on people. This is your duty as people of the world and Palauans. Just do it!! Click here to download the FORM, fill it out and then fax to the election commission office in palau.
